The John Howard Society of Niagara is a non-profit, incorporated charitable organization founded in 1949.
It provides community-based programs and services to adults and youth in the fields of justice, prevention, employment and education throughout the Niagara Region.
With offices in St. Catharines, Welland and Fort Erie, The John Howard Society of Niagara has over 70 employees and services more than 15,000 people annually.

The John Howard Society receives the NC Dementia Experience
Niagara College's Dementia Experience uses specialized equipment to simulate the physical and sensory effects of aging with dementia, helping participants understand the challenges faced by individuals with cognitive delays. The John Howard Society and members of the Niagara Regional Police Service are among the organizations that have participated in the simulation.
