Even though our physical offices closed in March, we have continued to deliver programs and services to our community. In a matter of weeks, we made changes to our service delivery model: creating a suite of e-services and ensuring that all of our programs continued to be available to those we serve.

As Ontario re-opens businesses and public spaces, John Howard Society of Niagara has been preparing to gradually and safely re-open our doors. Effective, 27th July, we will welcome clients into our premises in controlled numbers and by appointment only. We will continue to provide virtual services by phone, email and video meetings and clients will be able to choose how they want to be served by us.

As we move forward with the gradual reopening of our sites, protecting the health and safety of our staff and clients is our main priority. Following public health guidelines, we have put new safety measures in place in our buildings: such as mandatory masking in common areas, screening questionnaire, clear barriers at service counters, and enhanced disinfecting of our offices.
