Central to the JHS Justice division, and made possible through a partnership with the local Federal Crown Attorney’s office, is the Adult Federal Diversion program.
This program seeks to divert offenders from the normal court process through education, awareness, supportive interventions and effective programming. Participants are encouraged to accept responsibility for their infractions as they continue to explore the impact of their actions. Upon successful completion of the Adult Federal Diversion program, all related criminal proceedings are halted and charges against the individual are withdrawn.
Eligibility for the program is reserved for specific types of offenses and eligible participants must be 18 years of age or older on the date of the offense. Please note this is a fee-for-service program.
